Steffan Triplett is a writer and educator from Joplin, Missouri. He received his MFA in Nonfiction from the University of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis where he was a John B. Ervin Scholar.   

His work appears in The Iowa ReviewFenceLit HubVulture, and DIAGRAM. Steffan’s work has been anthologized in Nepantla: An Anthology Dedicated to Queer Poets of Color (Nightboat 2018), Revisiting the Elegy in the Black Lives Matter Era (Routledge 2019), and It Came From The Closet: Queer Reflections on Horror (Feminist Press 2022). Steffan is an Editor at The Offing and has received fellowships from Cave Canem, Lambda Literary, Callaloo, and is a VONA/Voices alum. 

His first book, Bad Forecast, will be published on Essay Press in 2024.
